Casey Schimpf inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society at Pitt-Bradford

BRADFORD, Pa. -- Casey Schimpf, a junior sports medicine major from Reeders, Pa., and 12 other students were inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She is also a midfielder on the women's soccer team.

Chi Alpha Sigma is the first national scholar-athlete society to honor those collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and athletic competitions.

The Advisors of the Pitt-Bradford chapter are Lizbeth Matz, associate professor of business management, and Lorraine Mazza, athletic director.
