Samantha Smith presents research at undergraduate research conference

Samantha Smith, a sports medicine major at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, was one of 82 students who presented at the Penn-York Undergraduate Research Conference held at the Pitt-Bradford Saturday, Nov. 9.

Smith of Glen Rock, Pa., presented "Muscle Grip-Strength Fatigue for Student Athlete that Participate in Differing College Sports".

Other colleges and universities taking part are Houghton College, Hilbert College, Alfred University, the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, Clarion University of Pennsylvania and St. Bonaventure University.

Penn-York was started by Dr. Helene Lawson, professor of sociology, in 2000 to give undergraduate students an opportunity to present their research in a conference setting.
